Winter Magic Layout

Last weekend, I got the most darling new cartridge for my Cricut callled Winter Woodland. I used it to cut out the skis, hat, mittens and title for this page layout. The paper is from SEI and I think it is called Winter Song. Love these colors together!

Candy Bar Wrappers

These wrapped candy bars are so easy to make! I took sheets of the Merry Moments designer series paper and cut them down to a 6x6 square. Use Snail adhesive on the outer edge of the inside of the paper, wrap it tightly around the kit kat bar then pinch the top and bottom edges together to seal them. Run the top and bottem ends through your crimper, add ribbon and a tag, and you're done.

Double Arch, Moab UT

We just got back from one of our favorite places to visit, Moab UT. We had a fun time hiking in Arches National Park and driving off road. It got really cold at night, and the day time was a little colder than we would have liked, 50's, but it is much better than trying to hike in the blistering heat of the summer. I think we had a little visitor in our cabin on one of the nights, a mouse. All in all, it was a great getaway for a couple of days.

Quick & easy Christmas card.

I love the retro look of the Holiday Lounge paper I used for this card. There is no stampin at all! I just cut a strip of the patterned paper with the trees and matted it with Sahara sand card stock. The greeting is from last years Christmas rub-ons, I can't remember the name of them. It couldn't get any easier than that.

Shimmer Paint!

Stampin' Up! has a new product called shimmer paint in the Holiday Mini catalog. In this card I applied the shimmer paint with a sponge dauber over my stamped image to give it a sparkly and antique kind of look. The nice thing about it is that it dries really fast. I used the Champagne mist shimmer paint for this card, but it also comes in Frost White and Platinum.

My first blog entry!!!!

I have been wanting to do a blog for a long time, but I just wasn't sure how to even get started. I decided to just dive right in and learn as I go. My main purpose for this blog is to share my love, and addiction for stamping, scrapbooking, and card making. Hopefully there will be someone out there who will see this blog and be inspired.
